Singapore Maritime Week 2022 returned on 4-8 April with a theme of ‘Transformation for Growth’. The occasion brought together experts and thought leaders from the maritime industry to discuss and share insights on innovation, sustainability, services and talent. The event also spotlighted the sector’s challenges, opportunities and trends during and after the pandemic. More than 20 events were held during the Week, involving more than 10 international organizations and over 100 keynote speakers. Pico Singapore was appointed as official stand builder for the show.

The highly acclaimed event showcased 20 creative light art installations by local and international artists from 14 countries, all based on the theme ‘Spark of Light’. Starting this year, each edition of i Light Singapore will be anchored on a colour from the visible light spectrum, with this edition kicking off with violet.

The exhibition runs from January to July 2022.
To ensure an impactful visitor experience, ASM chose to work closely with Pico on the exhibition’s creative conceptualisation, overall brand identity, space planning and design. The Pico team was also responsible for the exhibition’s actual construction.
The Special Education (SPED) Learning Festival is a biennial event in Singapore organized by the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) Special Education branch. As well as engaging special educators in a day of professional development and knowledge-sharing, the event is open to the public – and particularly to industry professionals and parents of special needs children. For 2021, the online programme catered to educators on its first day and parents/public on the second. Pico was tasked to provide end-to-end execution and management of the event.
View the case studyThe biennial Singapore Airshow returned in February 2022 as a by-invite tradeshow for high-level government and military delegations, as well as global industry players. Reputed as one of Asia’s most influential aerospace and defence exhibitions, the four-day tradeshow took place amidst the ongoing COVID-19 situation as a platform for global key players to navigate through the pandemic and forge ahead for a robust recovery of the aviation sector.
Pico was appointed by Experia (organizer) once again as the official technical partner for in-hall and chalet requirements for the 2022 edition.
The Mother Tongue Languages Symposium (MTLS) is an annual flagship event organized by the Ministry of Education in Singapore and the Mother Tongue Language Learning and Promotion Committees. Its aim is to connect parents and educators with language education experts, giving new insights on motivating students to learn their ‘mother tongues’.
For its 10th anniversary in 2021, ‘Our Mother Tongues as Living Languages’ was the theme as the event went hybrid for the second time, deepening its connection with the community.
The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) is the largest and most prominent esports tournament for Free Fire, a globally popular multiplayer ‘battle royale’ mobile game developed and published by Garena. Held in May 2021, the tournament was hosted at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. No less than 18 teams of players from around the world competed for the largest prize pool of the tournament at the time.
Pico was entrusted by VSPN, a leading Shanghai-based esports experience provider, to assist Garena in delivering the event.
Organized by Montgomery Events Asia, this large-scale hybrid flagship event for geospatial and location intelligence was held at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre (MBS). As a large-scale pilot event held amidst a global pandemic, it was both a milestone for Singapore’s MICE industry and a testament to the city’s receptiveness to a safe and innovative event experience.

Organized by Singapore’s Ministry of Education, it provides educators with professional development and an avenue for novel learning experiences.
For the 10th edition held in 2021, Pico was appointed by the organizing committee to conceptualise and develop a virtual edition of the event.
The Singapore Maritime Week 2021 (SMW21) went hybrid this year for the first time to unite industry experts to discuss about digital transformation and decarbonisation efforts of the maritime industry.
